Strawbale and Plaster Building 2009

Our Strawbale Workshop took place at a Community Garden in Minneapolis, where our new benches form a circular seating area under a large tree. We divided into three teams, and each team designed and built a unique bench. One coat of plaster was applied that day. Follow-up events will be scheduled to apply a second coat of plaster and to create tile murals on the benches.
