The PRI Cold Climate Teacher's Guild periodically hosts Introduction to Permaculture Workshops, where you can:
- Enjoy our combined evening film festival and day-long workshop designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Permaculture as applied to our cold temperate climate bioregion.
- Learn how to consciously design and maintain productive ecosystems that have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems.
- Apply what you learn at home and in your neighborhood. Through the harmonious integration of landscape and people, we are better able to produce food, energy, shelter, and meet other needs—both material and non-material—in a sustainable way.
- Begin your journey by taking this introductory workshop, which is a prerequisite for many more educational and volunteer events, such as learning workshops, PRI Cold Climate courses, and citizen science projects, and for participation in our "Work & Learn" Workshare Events.
