"Permaculture Support Group" Design Charrette - March Meeting

About the Design Charrette Series
The design charrette process is essentially an informed brainstorming session, applied, in this case, to implementing permaculture in various settings.
The first Design Charrette meeting in February went very well. A group of 8 folks showed up--those who are working in the landscape design field, home-owners, apartment owners, land owners, workshop trained permaculturists and novices in all things permaculture. A diverse and hearty mix!
We are looking to expand our group to about 12 total, so please come join us!
Ideally participants will be able to join as many of the meetings as possible. Participants are welcome to add their property to the queue for design brainstorming if they want, but there is no need to have property. The goal is to enjoy ourselves and connect to a community of folks who want to embrace Permaculture as a part of their lives. From our first meeting I can say: so far, so good!
Next Meeting
Our next meeting is at our house in Minneapolis, on March 21st (time has not been finalized yet), with a meeting in Dayton, MN the following Sunday, March 29th.

More Info
Our designs, for now, are designs for the garden/yard/property. We are hoping to complete as many
charrettes as possible before spring, so people can really implement their designs (as much as they are able) this year. Not everyone has a property, but everyone is interested in (I might even say passionate
about!) talking about Permaculture, developing community, and sharing their ideas with the group.
So, from here on out, each meeting will take place at someone's home (the 'host/client'), where we will convene for three or more hours. During that time the host/client will present information about themselves, their situation, and their site, so we can understand what they want as the 'client' of this charrette. Everyone will go out to experience the property, then regroup and brainstorm solutions together. We will generate options (or design solutions) for them through the design charrette session, which they can use to develop a final design plan for their property.
