Permaculture Design Certification Class

Immerse yourself in permaculture with a group of other students! Learn by doing and observing as well as through lecture and discussion. This intensive week-long course covers many areas of permaculture design work, including soils, water and earthworks, ecobuilding, permaculture strategies for different climates, rural and suburban permaculture, and more. Upon completion of this course you will receive certification, which demonstrates the commitment you have made to the study of Permaculture and earns you the right to use the word Permaculture in the promotion of your work or profession. Instructors: Mark Shepard of Forest Agriculture Enterprises, Matthew Wood, Reed Aubin. When: Webinars (required) start in September, registration starts October 16, on-site class runs October 17- 24 Where: Class will be held at Nature's Nest Farm in Montrose, MN (45 minutes west of Minneapolis), with field trips to other permaculture sites in the area. Cost: Fee for the entire week is $1300 (1/2 price for PRI Cold Climate members with prior PDC training). Optional tour day is an additional $200. All meals are included in the fees, and limited on-site accommodations are available at additional cost.
