Introduction to Permaculture Workshop

The Permaculture Research Institute, Cold Climate presents:
An Introduction to Permaculture Fall 2008

Minnesota and the Midwest is at a crucial stage in climate change, economics, energy descent and transitioning to self reliant homesteads.

Permaculture has principles and ethics to help individuals, communities and families develop their resources into stable and continuously viable homes and property.

Permaculture principles guide participants in observing patterns of energy use and collection and storage of diminishing resources.

This workshop will introduce Permaculture to participants and assist them in entering new patterns of existence that secure an environmentally supported lifestyle.

Workshop- Saturday November 8, 2008, 9:00 AM

Homestead Tour- Sunday November 9, 2008 10:00 AM SouthWoods, Prior Lake (Public event)

Where:

Minneapolis College of Art and Design(MCAD), 2501 Stevens Ave. Minneapolis, MN 55404 - MCAD Parking in 3rd Ave Ramp or on Stevens Ave.

Film Fest at MCAD, Auditorium 150, Friday November 7th Open to Public

Workshop at MCAD, 240 College Center, Saturday November 8th.

Homestead Tour at SouthWoods, 17766 Langford Blvd., Prior Lake, MN 55372, Sunday November 9th

Participants will be given supporting materials based on the days presentations. Participants should bring lunch. Snacks and refreshments will be provided at breaks.
