Backyard Harvest Info Session
Have you ever wanted to have a beautiful, vegetable producing garden in your own backyard but don’t have the knowledge or time to grow one yourself? Backyard Harvest is a homegrown Minneapolis nonprofit program, which seeks to make that desire possible. We work with homeowners, small businesses and communities to establish gardens in their yards, maintain them and harvest the produce. Along with our focus on providing the freshest most local produce possible, we also offer garden and fresh food education for homeowners and neighborhoods, and small-scale food production training for our farmers.
If you are interested in having a Backyard Harvest garden in your yard, becoming a farmer or volunteer, or simply in learning more about our program, please come to our information session.
We would love to meet you!
When: October 21st at 6pm
Where: Urban Earth Flower and Garden Co-op, 910 West 36th St, Minneapolis
Cost: Free information session.
Backyard Harvest is a program of the Permaculture Research Institute Cold Climate.
