Courtney Tchida Bio
Courtney Tchida is currently the Student Program Coordinator for the Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture at the University of Minnesota where she coordinates the graduate and undergraduate minors in sustainable agriculture, Cornercopia Student Organic Farm and helps advise the What's up in sustainable agriculture student group. She has an B.S. in Environmental Horticulture and a M. Ed. in Agricultural Education both from the U of M. She attained her permaculture design certificate in October 2006 from Midwest Permaculture's first design course taught in Stelle, IL by Mark Shepard and Wayne Weisman. She teaches the Spring Semester Student Organic Farm Planning, Growing and Marketing Course (Agro / Hort 3131 / 5131) at the U of M which is infused with permaculture principles and ethics.
