We invite you to participate in our community. Our monthly publication, Cold Climate Circular, gives us a forum for sharing information, making arrangements, learning together, and helping each other.

Events

We’ll keep you posted about events that PRI is hosting and participating in. Do you know of other upcoming events that might interest members? Send a link or flyer.

Experiences

Tell us about your encounters with permaculture – in books, videos, classes and other events, and conversations. If you’ve been to an event hosted by PRI or another organization, what happened there and what did you learn? What foods are you growing, and how are you preparing and storing them? We can learn from each other’s experiences. Please share some of yours!

Exchanges

Have feedback about this community, a story we’ve published, a comment someone else made in the Circular? Join our exchange of ideas and information. Is there a member who’s willing to respond to other members’ questions? (Ask Farmer Bruce? Ask Grandma?) Would someone want to interview a few members, or pick a buddy and interview each other, so we can all come to know each other better? Let us know if you can contribute.

Extension

How do we link to other organizations, cultures, regions, and to the global community? What’s the permaculture news? What’s happening in nature at this time of year, and what are seasonally relevant foods, cycles, tasks, and celebrations? (Is someone willing to research and share seasonal tidbits each month?) How are our members speaking out and showing up in the world outside our PRI community? What have you seen or heard, what have you or another member done? Please tell us about it.
